My health and plastic surgery
My health has been horrible for awhile, and I can't get it to improve. I'm convinced my health is the result of bad complications of plastic surgery. My mom had me get liposuction and a chin implant when I was 23 or 24 years old. While I could tolerate the effects of liposuction, I couldn't tolerate the chin implant. The chin implant stretched out the skin and made movement with my mouth, including laughing, smiling, talking, and eating, incredibly uncomfortable. Well, once I had the chin implant removed in the year 2016, things went downhill. I've since gained a lot of weight and have had trouble losing it. I'm used to having good health, eating right, and exercising, but none of that has been working recently. I'm also used to maintaining a healthy weight of 130 pounds (even went down to 109 pounds), but currently, I weight about 200 pounds. For my height, that's very unhealthy. Due to the ill effects that I'm suffering from recently, I'm having a surgery operation to relieve the discomfort regarding oral activities, which I mentioned as eating, smiling, laughing, and talking. I'm having my chin bone reduced, which means it's being cut. However, they're minimally cutting down the chin. It's main effect is to relieve discomfort I've had with activities involving my mouth since the chin implant removal. I hope this procedure goes well and I can subsequently shed off the unnecessary pounds that I've gained. On the bright side, though, my lab results came back normal with exception to blood glucose control and being pre-diabetes.
When I found my chin problem to be especially problematic was when I was in NYC. I got ready for Sunday service at Emmanuel Presbyterian near Columbia Uni. campus. When I got there, I noticed a dude from the medical campus sitting to where I chose to sit. As we got into worship, I noticed a guy named Eugene K. (I'll leave his last name undisclosed for privacy.) sitting to my right. Well Eugene stood up and seemed to have implied that he wanted me to recognize him, or it seemed that way. I couldn't though because of my chin problems. He left without my reciprocating his impulsive behaviors. Then, as I started to enjoy the company of the people in the church, I was pressured into another situation where my smiling was vital in the presence of another Korean guy with the last name of Kim, who I later discovered to be a Columbia Law student. In that moment, I couldn't smile due to my chin problems and gravitated towards a familiar face, Jamie Chan who deterred me away from her. I blame my chin problems for the unfortunate chain of events which ended with my unexpectedly exit from the church.
That day precedes my encounter with a malicious girl named Esther Choi (who is wedded to a Jaymin Berg). I can't even describe or rationalize the behaviors I noticed in Esther Choi. However, I can say that the very situation that I had with Eugene and the guy named Kane, both Koreans and Columbia Law students, explains Esther Choi and her demanding nature for me to acknowledge her with a facial expression, which I couldn't given due to my chin problems. Unlike Eugene and the guy named Kane, Esther persisted and persisted which I label as bullying behavior directed at me.
So, I had to leave the university without finishing my graduate degree and Eugene, who I discovered to be 4 or 5 years my senior, is working as a financial broker for an investment bank in NYC. That pretty much ends my summary of the problems I've had due to plastic surgery.
I also think my chin problems resulted in the discord with Esther Choi (Berg). She was someone I had never met, but the incident with her leads me to conclude she developed strong sentiments about me according to her discoveries. Prior to my move to NYC, I had stayed in Fresno for about a year and a half. During that time, I had seen Andrew in the context of the Valley of Grace ministry with Friday weekly Bible studies and Sunday services. He persisted, albeit passive aggressively, to engage in conversation with me, but it just didn't work out after a year or so, as proved by his marriage to Linda Lee. The reason is the same as it was in NYC with Eugene and the other guy whose name I discovered to be Kane. My chin problem was a huge interference, but I wouldn't have imagined it to lead to the debacle with Esther Choi (Berg) of which she began.
Currently, I have better insight into the effects of a disfigured chin, whether it's from the chin implant or post-chin implant removal. In addition to the oral complications that I mentioned - eating, talking, smiling, and laughing - it contributes to headaches. Because I'm not able to comfortably and easily smile and laugh, I don't get the effects of feel good hormones that relieve stress and pain. Thus, I'm constantly in some form of discomfort and/or pain that's unrelieved. No matter what situation - whether it was in NYC or at home with family, I'm in discomfort, stressed, and in a bit of pain due to the chin complications. Perhaps, that's adding to the weight gain problem as well. For this reason, I'm determined to be an advocate for my patients as a RN and wish to improve the health and livelihoods of patients at the bedside. Before then, I really hope my chin problem gets resolved with one last surgery which is scheduled for late May of this year. That way, I can live the life that I once wanted without the debilitation that this chin problem brings.
