"Dating" in the 40s
I can profess that "dating" is easier in 20s and 30s than in 40s. As a 41 year old female, I've become less motivated to desire a family and happier to remain single for the entirety of my life. That's all I have to say about this subject.
On another note, I'm befuddled by my study habits lately. When I was a Political Science student at UC Berkeley, I was able to focus, concentrate, and spit out papers (albeit crappy ones). Now at 41 years old, I find myself getting headaches frequently, brain fog, and bouts of forgetfulness. I want to blame the chin problem that's been ongoing. It's just so disappointing that I can't get my grades up in the nursing classes that I'm currently taking.
Since I've been having chin problems caused by the chin implant augmentation procedure, I should technically qualify for medical disability. But I'm not in such much discomfort that I can't work and I should be able to work and continue with nursing school. I'm just really worried about my grades in this semester's nursing classes, Ob and Pediatrics. Back at Columbia, I did decent and in fact, those classes were on the "easy" side, just a bunch of memorization. This time, though, it's really a struggle to keep my grade up in Ob lecture. I pray that I pass that class this semester.
