I studied abroad in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and took the bus to Sao Paulo

I had the best experience in Brazil. I met a Korean community in Rio de Janeiro that took good care of me. I met with Portuguese instructor Miriam Lee and had delicious pizza in Sao Paulo. I saw a thriving Japanese community in Sao Paulo. It was all so nice. I miss those days.

I learned a lot from that semester. I learned that everybody should have rights to happiness and not be subject to unhappiness. I also learned that nobody can make you unhappy or happy and that it's up to own self to achieve happiness. God also endows us with different blessings, talents, and skills. We're each made individually unique and special. I have such vivid memories from my travels and the happiness it brought me to see a different culture and country. If I was to choose the happiest moment of my life, it'd either be when I lived in NYC. I had quality company and support while in school. One can choose how happily to live and surround oneself with whatever makes them happy.
