Days of Marching Band in high school
Reminiscing back to high school marching band. I found a recording of a Clovis West HS marching band performance when I played the keyboard. I admit the band performed excellently. This must have been my first year of high school, because if I recall, I participated in the high school band for two years only, the first two years. In the latter two years of high school, I wasn't really involved with the school's band. It took up too much time, and I needed the last two years of high school to focus on my AP classes for college admission. Anyways, I really had a good time as a band member at this high school, at least for the first two years of my years in high school.
I know it's better to be modest and humble, but I've been on the receiving end of Korean lawyers initiating gestures at me, clearly showing their intention. I wasn't able to reciprocate my feelings towards them. One of these days, though, I'll find true love, and it doesn't have to be with a Korean lawyer. No really, lawyers are known to have solid reputation, which is one of the perks of being a lawyer's wife. They don't really have clout, because they aren't business people. Anyways, I thought I'd insert my experiences with Korean lawyers somewhere in my blog. Most fortunately for me, I was able to have dinner paid for by Jane Sueyon Moon's college roommate Tracey Kim, which I'm awfully thankful for. I feel so privileged to have been so kindly treated in New York City.
Summer break just began, and I'm literally so bored. If I didn't have the surgery, I'd be proactive about looking for a summer job in addition to my substitute teaching job.
On this Sunday, I've learned about God's protection and provision through Redeemer Downtown's service on Youtube. I've already learned about the passage that's covered, but it doesn't hurt to be reminded repeatedly.
